A Parish is Born

A Parish is Born

Sigona Parish was inaugurated under Muguga Presbytery along the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway. From the beginning, the parish was positioned to serve a growing peri-urban community and support the work of the Presbytery.

A Growing Family of Faith

Over time the parish has grown into a vibrant single-congregation church family with hundreds of members, children, and adherents actively participating in worship, fellowship, and ministry.

Worship for All

To nurture every generation, the parish offers multiple Sunday services including English, Kikuyu, Youth, and Differently Abled services, alongside Parish School classes for spiritual growth.

Caring for the Community

Caring for the Community

The church extends its ministry beyond Sunday worship by supporting the wider community through fellowship and outreach, including a weekly support gathering for those overcoming substance abuse.

A Vision for Education
2006

A Vision for Education

Through partnership with Davidson College Presbyterian Church, the parish founded a Child Development Centre which later became Sigona Presbyterian Academy, serving learners from early childhood through junior school.

Empowering Through Skills
Equipping for Tomorrow

Empowering Through Skills

The parish also established a Computer College that equips community members, especially young people after high school, with essential digital and practical skills for the future.
